American made high quality oil candles and lamp oil provide soft lighting that’s more worry free than most wax candles. An oil candle, especially a glass candle, can be cleaner, more convenient and, in the long term, less expensive than wax candles.

Worry free: Today’s high quality lamp oils are much more worry free than the kerosene lamps. These lamp oils are primarily liquid paraffins, and very similar to most wax candles. The ignition of high quality ‘liquid paraffin’ requires a much higher temperature than kerosene. Our lamp oil is classified as combustible, not flammable.

Easy Maintenance: Oil lamps allow you to bring candlelight into ‘the moment’ effortlessly. No more wax dripping onto furniture and linens. No need to trim the wick and carved down the unburned wax around the wick as necessary on most wax candles. Oil candles are more convenient. They require ‘refilling with lamp oil’ sooner or later. Some Glass Candle Shop designs provide more than thiry hours of candlelight on one fill. An occasional easy wick adjustment, dusting and that’s all there is to it.

Save long-term money: Compare the ‘cost per hour of candlelight’ when considering which type of candle to purchase. Purchasing oil candles will save you money and time in the long run. The price of wax candles varies greatly, along with the quality and performance. Wax candles have to be replaced. Glass oil candles do not. Most high quality lamp oil burns 4 to 6 hours per ounce. A few ounces of lamp oil are many times less costly than a new wax candle.

Bulk Lamp Oil: We offer bulk lamp oil in one gallon or 2 ½ gallon containers. When you buy a 2.5 gallon bottle your cost per hour of candlelight will be roughly $ .025 per hour.
